How does one become good in the eyes of God? There comes a point in life where we become very aware of our sins and all the mistakes we have made. We have all blown it in life. If you still think your pretty good then there is some blindness of your own sins. We try to do all kinds of good things to make up for all the bad we have done. But we still have all the bad in our lives even when we increase the good things in our lives.

I came to a point when I saw all the bad in my life and thought  " who would want to be around this jerk.  I wouldn't want to be around myself either." Sin was plaguing my life. But one day I saw how beautiful the story of Jesus dying on the cross was. In my heart God was saying to me "I payed for those sins and I washed them away when I died on the cross. I enjoy being with you. I love you. That's why I died on the cross so I can remove all the sins. The punishment is paid for."

Well I came to understand how the God of the universe came to give me a new life. He loved me even in my sin. My faith in knowing that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead made me good. He made me righteous in His eyes. I can't boast about being good because God did it. I can't be proud but I come in humility and gladness that he took me out the pit of sin I was in.

There is lots of evidence of when Jesus came so it's not a blind faith. I encourage you to search.
